Here's a pic of the sinkhole at the Corvette museum after the jump...you've been warned...
The first pic is a safety pic from my trip in 08, the horror after the jump...

So far they only think 8 have fallen: http://www.wkrn.com/story/24702089…
Two of the damaged Corvettes, a 1993 ZR-1 Spyder and a 2009 ZR1 "Blue Devil," were on loan from General Motors.
The other six Corvettes were owned by the museum and included a 1962 Black Corvette, 1984 PPG Pace Car, 1992 White 1 Millionth Corvette, 1993 Ruby Red 40th Anniversary Corvette, 2001 Mallett Hammer Z06 Corvette and 2009 White 1.5 Millionth Corvette.

Sadly, it's probably because they weren't driven.

Most of the cars there are on a year long stay and are returned to their owners. However, the concept cars (many on loan from GM) are not road legal.

Only 2 were on loan from GM and the other 6 were owned by the museum.

I can see about 3 cars from a previous commenter I can say there is the blue devil, the ruby red car and possible a black vette in the mix.

The funny thing about vettes where I live thy are more common the a mustang so this doesn't phase me at all. It's sad some one offs are in the hole but a vette isn't special anymore really. The 2014 is a good refresh for it's image.

If they had drilled piers before pouring the floor this wouldn't have happened.

Whoops, missed this post. Saw it on FB first... since no one seems to like shared posts anymore I'll just stop.
